Shore Regional is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. Everything went their way against Point Pleasant Beach as they made off with a 30-6 victory. The Blue Devils haven't had any issues with the Garnet Gulls recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Burlington City's offense rose to the challenge against a Mustangs defense that boasted an average of only ten points allowed on Friday. The Blue Devils blew past Manville 52-21. The Blue Devils pushed the score to 44-7 by the end of the third, a deficit the Mustangs cut but never quite recovered from.

Shore Regional better keep an eye on Donte Davis. He was instrumental in Burlington City's win, rushing for 170 yards and one touchdown on only seven carries, while also catching one score. Kysir Johnson was another key player, throwing for 99 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 71.4% of his passes.

Shore Regional's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Burlington City, their win bumped their record up to 10-1.

Everything came up roses for Shore Regional against Burlington City in their previous matchup back in November of 2021, as the team secured a 42-8 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Shore Regional since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
