Soccer Game Preview: East Moline Christian vs. Unity Christian

The East Moline Christian Eagles will venture away from home to challenge the Unity Christian Knights at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. East Moline Christian's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

It was a Battle of the Birds when East Moline Christian took on Faith Christian on Tuesday. The Eagles came up short against the Falcons, falling 4-0.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Unity Christian was not quite Tri-State Christian's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Huskies by a score of 2-1. Unity Christian haven't had much luck with Tri-State Christian recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Unity Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for East Moline Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

East Moline Christian couldn't quite get it done against Unity Christian when the teams last played last Tuesday as they fell 2-0. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
