Basketball Recap: Thunder Ridge Takes a Loss

Thunder Ridge lost against Madison back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Thunder Ridge Titans received a blow as they fell 77-61 to the Madison Bobcats. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked 61st, while the Bobcats are ranked second).

Despite the loss, Thunder Ridge still got an impressive performance from Deegan Branson, who went 6 of 8 from beyond the arc on his way to 20 points. Another player making a difference was Keith Brown, who posted nine points.

Thunder Ridge dropped their record down to 5-8 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Madison, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-1.

Thunder Ridge has already played their next contest, a 56-31 victory against Canyon Ridge on the 17th. As for Madison, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 53-40 win against Highland on the 17th.
