Football Game Preview: Martin County Gators vs. Hertford County Bears + How To Watch

Two dominant backs in Jah Sheppard and Ayden Everette are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Martin County Gators will face off against the Hertford County Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Martin County's defense has only allowed 12.4 points per game this season, so Hertford County's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Martin County is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Northeastern just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Friday. They were just a hair shy of victory and fell 14-13 to the Eagles. Having soared to a lofty 35 points in the game before, the Gators couldn't push the score so high this time.

Meanwhile, Hertford County didn't have too much trouble with First Flight on Friday as they won 30-14. The Bears haven't had any issues with the Nighthawks recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Martin County's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 6-3. As for Hertford County, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
