Volleyball Recap: Coronado Gets the Win

Coronado saw some tournament action on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the La Canada Spartans.

Ashlynn Proctor paced Coronado's offense, picking up 19 kills. Proctor got some help from Brooke Proctor and her 29 assists. Finally, Angelique Bernard kept Coronado's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Coronado's win bumped their record up to 28-5. As for La Canada, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-17.

Coronado wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against San Marcos on the 11th. As for La Canada, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Foothill on the 11th.
