Baseball Recap: Hutchinson Takes a Loss

Hutchinson managed to slip by Southwest Christian the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Tigers lost 9-3 to the Stars on Thursday. The Tigers' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Hutchinson's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Southwest Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hutchinson will square off against Little Falls at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Flyers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so the Tigers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Southwest Christian, they will take on Blake at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
