Volleyball Recap: Fairmont Prep Takes a Loss

In Friday's Canine Competition, Fairmont Prep didn't have enough. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Buena Park Coyotes on Friday. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Fairmont Prep ultimately came up short, they really made Buena Park work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 23-25, 25-19, 25-22.

Fairmont Prep now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Buena Park, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fairmont Prep will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Liberty Christian at 3:30 p.m. on the 24th. As for Buena Park, they will square off against Garden Grove at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
