It's playoff time, and Jeffersonville had no trouble coming through when it counted. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Floyd Central Highlanders 2-1. Given Jeffersonville's advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana soccer rankings (they are ranked 34th, while Floyd Central are ranked 91st) , the result on Wednesday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Kevyn Santiago Cortes and Xavier Santiago Cortes scored both of Jeffersonville's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.
