Preview: Gulfport Admirals vs. Ocean Springs Greyhounds
Gulfport is 6-1 against Ocean Springs since November of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Gulfport Admirals will head out on the road to face off against the Ocean Springs Greyhounds at 7:30 p.m. Gulfport is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
Last Friday, Gulfport came up short against Harrison Central and fell 51-41. Gulfport has not had much luck with Harrison Central recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Ocean Springs posted their closest win yet this season on Wednesday. They skirted past D'Iberville 52-50.
Gulfport has been struggling recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season. As for Ocean Springs, their win bumped their record up to 13-4.
Gulfport won a matchup that couldn't have been any closer in their previous meeting two weeks ago, slipping by Ocean Springs 61-60. The rematch might be a little tougher for Gulfport since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
