Baseball Recap: DeLaSalle Comes Up Short

DeLaSalle lost against St. Anthony Village back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Islanders fell 6-1 to the Huskies. The Islanders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

DeLaSalle saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Charles Gillette, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI. Rourick Gulbrandson was another, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

DeLaSalle now has a losing record of 4-5. As for St. Anthony Village, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 5-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. DeLaSalle is set to square off against their familiar foe Kennedy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, St. Anthony Village will face off against rival Park Center/Columbia Heights/Maranatha at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
