Volleyball Recap: Bridgewater-Raynham Trojans vs. Somerset Berkley Regional Raiders

After flying high against St. John Paul II last Friday, Bridgewater-Raynham came back down to earth. The Bridgewater-Raynham Trojans fell just short of the Somerset Berkley Regional Raiders by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Raiders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September.

Bridgewater-Raynham actually scored more points across those five sets (93-90), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 10-25, 25-15, 25-17, 15-25, 15-11.

Bridgewater-Raynham's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Somerset Berkley Regional, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-7.

Bridgewater-Raynham didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Dartmouth on the 25th. Somerset Berkley Regional does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
