Volleyball Recap: Sarah Proper Key Part of Team Effort in Knights Win + How To Watch

Ocoee won the last time they faced Jones and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Knights were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Fightin' Tigers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

Ocoee never let Jones on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 28-26, 25-8, 25-14.

Ocoee got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Sarah Proper out in front who had eight kills and seven aces. Those eight kills gave Proper a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Trista Fitzpatrick, who had seven aces and three assists.

Ocoee now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Jones, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Ocoee and Evans will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jones, they will be playing at home against University at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
