Soccer Recap: Seguin Takes a Loss

Seguin fell victim to Edison and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Edison Golden Bears by a score of 1-0. The Matadors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Golden Bears earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

This is the second loss in a row for Seguin and nudges their season record down to 8-8-1. As for Edison, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 10-5.

Coincidentally, Seguin and Edison will both be playing Highlands the next time they take the pitch. Seguin will head out to face Highlands at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, while Edison will head out to face them at 9:00 a.m. on Monday.
