Baseball Recap: Melrose Takes a Loss

Melrose was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 14-3 to the Minnewaska Area Lakers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lakers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-5 on Tuesday.

Melrose's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Minnewaska Area, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Melrose wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 13-10 victory against Sauk Centre on the 22nd. As for Minnewaska Area, they will welcome Benson at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
