Basketball Game Preview: Kenwood Knights vs. Northwest Vikings

The Kenwood Knights will square off against the Northwest Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Kenwood has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.

Kenwood took a loss when they played away from home last Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They skirted past West Creek 46-43. The win was some much needed relief for the Knights as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Northwest entered their game against Dickson County on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Northwest fell 64-52 to Dickson County.

Northwest's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-5. As for Kenwood, their victory bumped their record up to 8-5.

Kenwood didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Northwest in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, but they still walked away with a 56-51 win. Will Kenwood repeat their success, or does Northwest have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
