Baseball Game Preview: Bruceville-Eddy Eagles vs. Valley Mills Eagles

For the second straight game, Bruceville-Eddy will face off against Valley Mills. We've got a battle between Eagles coming up. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Bruceville-Eddy has struggled recently with three losses in a row, while Valley Mills will arrive with six straight wins.

Bruceville-Eddy came up short against Valley Mills on Tuesday, falling 24-4.

For Valley Mills' part, Blayne Griner made a big impact no matter where he played. Valley Mills was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .425. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .355 or higher in three consecutive contests.

Valley Mills' victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-7. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 9.5 runs. As for Bruceville-Eddy, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-12.
