Baseball Recap: Tornillo Takes a Loss

Tornillo managed to slip by Kermit the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Coyotes came up short against the Yellow Jackets on Tuesday, falling 9-2. The Coyotes just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Tornillo saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Josue Chuca, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. Gio Alvidrez also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Tornillo's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Kermit, the win got them back to even at 8-8.

Coincidentally, Tornillo and Kermit will both be playing Anthony the next time they take the field. The Coyotes will host the Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Yellow Jackets will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th.
