Elli John posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. As a matter of fact, she produced her best game of the campaign: she struck out 13 batters over seven innings while giving up six earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.

Looking ahead, John and Canyon View will square off against Pine View at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
