Tyler won the last time they faced Ritchie County and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Knights put the hurt on the Rebels with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-16, 25-10.

Katie Grimm paced Tyler's offense, picking up 19 kills. Grimm got some help from Raylynn Heintzman and her 24 assists. Addison Reed and Kayli West kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Tyler's win bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Ritchie County, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Looking ahead, after both having extra time off, Tyler and Doddridge County will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ritchie County, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against St. Albans on the 25th.
