Volleyball Recap: Meredith Prince Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Martin County + How To Watch

Legacy proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Martin County Tigers, sneaking past 3-2.

Legacy took Martin County into a fifth set where they got it done with a six-point win. The match finished with set scores of 15-25, 27-25, 20-25, 25-16, 15-9.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Legacy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Meredith Prince, who had 13 digs and one block. The team also got some help courtesy of Paisley Woods, who had 14 digs and three aces.

Legacy's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Martin County, their loss was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Legacy will host John Carroll Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Martin County, they will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Port St. Lucie at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
