Soccer Game Preview: Mooseheart vs. Rickover Naval

The Mooseheart Red Ramblers will head out to face off against the Rickover Naval Seadragons at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Mooseheart came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Christian Liberty, falling 4-1. The matchup was a close 2-1 at the break, but unfortunately for Mooseheart it sure didn't stay that way.

Their goal came courtesy of Evan Zeon, which was the first he's scored this season.

Meanwhile, Rickover Naval was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to Von Steuben. While losing is never fun, Rickover Naval can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 341st, while Von Steuben are ranked 131st).

Rickover Naval's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Mooseheart, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.
