Football Game Preview: Pea Ridge Blackhawks vs. Harrison Goblins

Pea Ridge is 0-7 against Harrison since August of 2018 but things could change on Friday. The Blackhawks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Goblins at 7:00 p.m. Pea Ridge has given up an average of 32.3 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Things were looking good for Pea Ridge after they put the first points on the board on Friday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They took a 35-20 bruising from Alma. While the Blackhawks didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Airedales 7-0 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, Harrison played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Greenbrier and fell 49-20. The Goblins were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-7.

Pea Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Harrison, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Things could have been worse for Pea Ridge, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 34-17 loss to Harrison in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. Thankfully for the Blackhawks, Jackson Criner (who rushed for 80 yards and a pair of TDs on only eight carries, and also threw for 91 yards and one touchdown) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
