Baseball Recap: McKinley Takes a Loss

McKinley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Jackson Polar Bears, falling 10-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Polar Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on Tuesday.

McKinley's defeat dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Jackson, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-3.

Looking ahead, McKinley will welcome Norwayne at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Jackson, they will head out on the road to square off against Washington at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the Polar Bears' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
