            Basketball Recap: Clinton School vs. Summit Academy Eagles        
        
		
        
        
            If Clinton School was riding high  fresh off their  65-41 takedown of NEST+m last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Clinton School were dealt  a  78-41 loss at the hands of the Summit Academy Eagles on Saturday. The  matchup marked Clinton School's lowest-scoring  contest so far this season.
 Summit Academy got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Justin Rodriguez out in front who  posted 21  points and three  steals. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jasper Meissner, who  had 19 points along with eight  assists and six  rebounds.

The  defeat snapped Clinton School's winning streak at six games  and leaves them with a 9-3 record. As for Summit Academy, the  victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 17-4.
 Clinton School will challenge Green at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Summit Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  game,  a  75-68  loss against Eagle Academy III on the 19th.
