It's playoff time, and Northside had no trouble coming through when it counted. They never let the John Carroll Catholic Cavaliers get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won 19 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Caroline Jones, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since April 4th. Another player making a difference was Aiden Sharbutt, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Northside has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 18 of their last 20 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 33-13-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for John Carroll Catholic, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-20.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Northside beat the Cavaliers by a score of 12-2 later that day.
