Volleyball Recap: Greater Johnstown Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Greater Johnstown lost against Somerset back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Trojans came up short against the Eagles, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-11, 25-14.

Somerset was led to victory by Elly Fletcher and Molly Stoy. Fletcher had six digs and two aces, while Stoy had ten assists and two aces. Fletcher is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last eight games she's played.

Greater Johnstown's loss dropped their record down to 0-18. As for Somerset, their victory ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 21-5-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Greater Johnstown will host Windber at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Somerset, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bishop McCort at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
