Football Recap: North Haven Comes Up Short + How To Watch

While it was all tied up 14-14 at halftime, North Haven was not quite Sheehan's equal in the second half on Friday. They and the Titans were almost perfectly matched up, but they suffered a 28-27 loss. The Nighthawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Titans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

Despite the loss, North Haven still got an impressive performance from Artie McCormack IV, who rushed for 127 yards and one touchdown while picking up 7.5 yards per carry, and also picked up 51 receiving yards and one score. McCormack IV's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 107 rushing yards.

This is the second loss in a row for North Haven and nudges their season record down to 3-3. As for Sheehan, their victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. North Haven will square off against rival Fairfield Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Sheehan is set to take on their familiar foe Harding at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
