Nixa is a perfect 3-0 against Central since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Eagles will head out to take on the Bulldogs at 6:45 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Nixa is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Missouri's top teams: Howell Central, who was ranked 17th at the time (Nixa was ranked fifth). The Eagles came up short against the Spartans on Saturday, falling 3-0. Nixa have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Meanwhile, Central fell victim to Ozark and their airtight defense on Thursday. They lost 8-0 to the Tigers. Central have struggled against Ozark recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Nixa, their loss dropped their record down to 14-3.

Everything went Nixa's way against Central in their previous matchup back in May of 2025, as Nixa made off with an 11-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
