Menomonee Falls had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Pius XI Catholic Popes.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 26-24, 18-25, 25-16.

Daniel Poulakos paced Menomonee Falls' offense, picking up 12 kills. Poulakos got some help from Ben Kuhn and his 29 assists. Poulakos was also solid from the service line: he led the team with six aces.

Menomonee Falls now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Pius XI Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-3.

Menomonee Falls and Pius XI Catholic will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Phoenix will square off against rival Germantown at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Pius XI Catholic is set to challenge their familiar foe Pewaukee at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
