Football Game Preview: Fenton Tigers vs. Linden Eagles + How To Watch

Fenton is 8-2 against Linden since September of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Tigers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Linden will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: Fenton extended their winning streak to four on Friday. The Tigers simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Kearsley 55-7. With the Tigers ahead 34-7 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Noah Sheil was a one-man wrecking crew as he threw for 168 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 77 yards and one score on only eight carries. Those 77 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

Meanwhile, after only 13 points in their last matchup, Linden made sure to put some points up on the board against Swartz Creek on Friday. The Eagles took their game with ease, bagging a 45-12 win over the Dragons. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Dragons recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

A big part of Linden's win came down to the chemistry between Noah Thomas and his top target Max Widner. Thomas picked up 189 receiving yards and three TDs while Widner threw for 235 yards and three touchdowns on only 16 passes.

Fenton's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Linden, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.

Fenton was taken down by Linden 42-14 in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
