Soccer Recap: South Hagerstown Comes Up Short

South Hagerstown lost against Linganore back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Rebels lost 4-0 to the Lancers. While losing is never fun, South Hagerstown can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland soccer rankings (they are ranked 163rd, while Linganore are ranked seventh).

South Hagerstown's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Linganore, their victory bumped their record up to 9-1.

Looking ahead, South Hagerstown will welcome Urbana at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Urbana will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something South Hagerstown surely won't give up without a fight. As for Linganore, they will head out to face off against Allegany at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
