Loyd Star lost against Bogue Chitto last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Loyd Star came up short against Bogue Chitto, falling 15-3. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Loyd Star saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Barrett Womack, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

Loyd Star now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Bogue Chitto, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Loyd Star beat Bogue Chitto by a score of 10-6 later that day.
