Baseball Game Preview: Catoosa Indians vs. Stilwell Indians

For the second straight game, Catoosa will face off against Stilwell. Catoosa will head out on the road to square off against Stilwell at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Catoosa is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.

Catoosa will bounce into Tuesday's match after beating Stilwell, who they had gone 0-7 against in their seven prior meetings. Catoosa came out on top against Stilwell by a score of 7-4 on Monday.

Tanner Casey was a major factor no matter where he played. He struck out seven batters over 4.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Blane Hasty, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. Tanner Fultz also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Catoosa's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 5-5. As for Stilwell, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-7.
