Football Recap: Diamond Ranch Starts Season with Win Against Ganesha + How To Watch

Diamond Ranch took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They put the hurt on the Ganesha Giants with a sharp 42-20 win. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-7.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Diamond Ranch to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jalen Gallegos, who rushed for 126 yards and a pair of TDs on only 15 carries, and also caught one touchdown. Tristan Kinney was another key rusher, rushing for 124 yards and one score on only six carries.

When it comes to explaining why Ganesha lost, don't look at Shamon Farley. Despite the final result, he rushed for 190 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 9.0 yards per carry.

Looking ahead, Diamond Ranch will venture away from home to face off against Bonita at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ganesha, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Azusa at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
