Baseball Game Preview: Greenville Lions vs. Denison Yellow Jackets

For the second straight game, Greenville will face off against Denison. The Lions will square off against the Yellow Jackets at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Greenville took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Denison 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Lions have posted since February 27th.

For Denison's part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Max Aleman, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base.

Greenville now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Denison, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 14 of their last 15 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-21 record this season.
