Soccer Game Preview: East Rowan vs. Gray Stone Day + How To Watch

The East Rowan Mustangs will venture away from home to take on the Gray Stone Day Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

East Rowan fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Carson on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 2-1. East Rowan have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Meanwhile, Gray Stone Day had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.8 goals) and they went ahead and made it six on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Rowdy Rebel Bulls a 9-0 shutout. Gray Stone Day might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matchups by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting South Stanly from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Auden Pethel led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by himself.

East Rowan's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8-1. As for Gray Stone Day, their win bumped their record up to 11-2-4.
