Basketball Recap: Bishop Ryan Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Berthold, Bishop Ryan was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They snuck past the Harvey/Fessenden-Bowdon Hornets with a 45-39 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Lions, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Harvey/Fessenden-Bowdon lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Rachel Neumiller, who went 6 of 11 on her way to 12 points and five rebounds. Neumiller is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Braylee Keller, who posted seven points and eight boards.

With the win, Bishop Ryan broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-8. As for Harvey/Fessenden-Bowdon, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.
