Basketball Recap: Rosman Takes a Loss

Rosman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Mitchell Mountaineers and fell 61-21. The Tigers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-11.

Rosman's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Mitchell, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rosman won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Owen at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Owen knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 17 contests -- so hopefully Rosman likes a good challenge. Mitchell has already played their next game (against Cloudland), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
