Softball Recap: Hoke County Comes Up Short

Hoke County was the 9-1 winner over Richmond Senior when they last played one another on Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Bucks fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 3-2 on Friday. That's two games in a row now that the Bucks have lost by just one run.

Hoke County saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Victoria Brock, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Hoke County's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 13-4. As for Richmond Senior, their record is now 6-10.

Looking ahead, Hoke County will host Pinecrest at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Richmond Senior, they will head out on the road to challenge Anson at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
