Volleyball Recap: Valley Forge Falls to John Marshall in First Game of Season

Valley Forge had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the John Marshall Lawyers.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: John Marshall scored at least 19 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-23, 21-25, 25-19.

John Marshall's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-3.

Valley Forge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for John Marshall, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against John Hay on the 25th.
