Baseball Recap: Wagener-Salley Comes Up Short

Wagener-Salley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 7-3 to the Ridge Spring-Monetta Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, with their most recent loss being a 4-3 defeat last Friday.

Wagener-Salley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gavin Starnes, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Wagener-Salley's loss dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Ridge Spring-Monetta, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-16.

As of now, neither Wagener-Salley nor the Trojans have any future games scheduled.
