Eastside hadn't done well against Wade Hampton recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Eagles never let the Generals get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory. Eastside might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by three goals or more this season.

Payton Nutzman and Maddie Holmes scored all three of Eastside's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 24 goals.

The win was the sixth in a row for Eastside, bringing their record up to 12-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those six games. As for Wade Hampton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-7 record this season.
