Volleyball Recap: Hilliard Darby Takes a Loss

The Hilliard Darby Panthers came up short against the Upper Arlington Golden Bears on Friday and fell 3-1. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hilliard Darby couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Upper Arlington a tough time in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-19, 28-30, 25-20.

Ari Bohrer was the offensive standout of the matchup as he had nine digs and two aces.

Hilliard Darby's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Upper Arlington, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.

Hilliard Darby will face off against Westerville Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers are facing the Warhawks at the right time seeing as the Warhawks are stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for Upper Arlington, they will challenge Hilliard Davidson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
