Homewood-Flossmoor had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 7-0 walloping at the hands of Lincoln-Way East on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Solorio had just enough and edged Shepard out 2-1 on Thursday.
Solorio was led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Joanna Garcia and
Giselle Vazquez, who scored both of Solorio's goals. Those were goals were season-firsts for both players.
