Baseball Recap: Golden Wins Going Away Against Thomas Jefferson

Golden had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 15-run drubbing they dealt Thomas Jefferson on Wednesday. The Demons blew past the Spartans 18-3. The win continues a trend for the Demons in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won four in a row.

Taden Svendsen looked comfortable as he struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2024.

At the plate, Luca Casali was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Dylan Paulson was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one double.

Golden kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in four consecutive games.

Golden's record now sits at 8-3. As for Thomas Jefferson, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.
