Volleyball Recap: Fort Wayne Canterbury Takes a Loss

Fort Wayne Canterbury lost against Goshen HomeSchool back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cavaliers lost 3-0 to the Blue Blazers.

While Fort Wayne Canterbury had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 21 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-23, 25-21.

Victoria Kim paced Fort Wayne Canterbury's offense, picking up 12 kills. Kim got some help from Sophia Miller and her 24 assists.

Fort Wayne Canterbury now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Goshen HomeSchool, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Coming up, Fort Wayne Canterbury will face off against Lakewood Park Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give the Cavaliers their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Goshen HomeSchool, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Elkhart Christian Academy on the 23rd.
