Soccer Recap: Rancho Mirage Takes a Loss

Rancho Mirage fought the good fight in their overtime match against Palm Springs on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Palm Springs Indians by a score of 2-1. It was the first time this season that the Rattlers let down their fans at home.

Their goal came courtesy of Bryan Osorio, who's now up to two this season.

Rancho Mirage's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 10-3-3. As for Palm Springs, their record is now 4-9-4.

Rancho Mirage didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-0 victory against Xavier Prep on the 24th. As for Palm Springs, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Shadow Hills on the 24th.
