Soccer Recap: Air Academy Starts Season with Win Against Douglas County

Air Academy had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the Douglas County Huskies 5-2 on Thursday. Cayenne Wynia had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Kadets.

Douglas County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Air Academy will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Green Mountain at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Douglas County, they will head out to take on Heritage at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give Heritage their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
