Basketball Game Preview: Clyde Fliers vs. Port Clinton Redskins

Having just played yesterday, the Clyde Fliers will head out on the road to face off against the Port Clinton Redskins at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Clyde's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

Clyde is headed into the match having just suffered their biggest loss since December 2, 2023 on Friday. They lost 94-69 to Perkins. The Fliers have struggled against the Pirates recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Port Clinton, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They took down Vermilion 45-31 on Friday.

Clyde's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Port Clinton, their victory bumped their record up to 6-12.

Clyde came up short against Port Clinton in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, falling 79-67. Can Clyde avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
