Softball Recap: Foster Takes a Loss

Foster was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Evergreen Wolverines, falling 32-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-1 back in March.

Foster's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Evergreen, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Foster will take on Mercer Island at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Evergreen, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Lindbergh at 4:30 p.m. The last three games the Eagles have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
